La serata dei The Game Awards è attesa in tutto il mondo per la gran quantità di trailer e annunci che riserva ogni anno. Non bisogna dimenticare, però, che si tratta principalmente di un evento di premiazione dei migliori videogiochi realizzati nel corso degli ultimi mesi. Ecco allora l’elenco definitivo delle categorie e dei rispettivi vincitori.

L’ambito titolo di Game of the Year spetta a It Takes Two, che riesce a prevalere sui grandissimi nomi in nomination insieme a lui. Uno straordinario successo, che si unisce a quello per miglior gioco multiplayer e miglior gioco per famiglie. Ma non bisogna dimenticare i risultati ottenuti da giochi come Returnal (miglior gioco d’azione), Kena: Bridge of Spirits (miglior indie e miglior indie di debutto)e Deathloop (miglior direzione).
